How to Get Referrals So You Can Earn a Passive Income
Participating with paid to click and paid to complete survey websites can be quite time consuming. If you really want to see strong monetary results, you will need to get referrals. Getting referrals goes beyond mentioning your favorite sites to friends and family. Here are a few of my recommendations for getting referrals.

Create a Blog to Get Referrals
You can create a blog for free online. I recommend Blogger.com because you can find lots of free blog templates and you can also integrate Google Adsense easily into templates. Creating a blog will be somewhat time consuming because you will need to update it frequently.

Make Business Cards with Your Blog URL
You can either buy blank business cards and design your own or use Visaprint.com. I recommend adding your blog url to the business cards so that you can provide exposure to each of the sites you use to earn money online. Place your business cards on local bulletin boards and public places. Keep in mind that private properties such as grocery stores or shopping malls will not allow you to leave your business cards. Always ask for permission because if you upset an owner/manager, they will just throw your cards away.

Add Your Blog URL to Online Signatures and Profiles
There are so many online profiles that you’ve likely created for yourself. Add your blog URL to these so that your profile viewers can follow your blog. Add your URL to forum signatures.

Advertise Your Blog URL on Your Car
If you really want to go all out, buy a custom magnet with your URL and drive around town.

Make YouTube Videos
Certain videos about earning money online can cause your account to be blocked or deleted. Review YouTube’s User Agreement before making any videos.

Once again, add your blog URL to any social websites.

You can create your own t-shirt or handbag using Zazzle.

Write an Ebook with Your Blog URL
Ebooks can easily be distributed from your blog or posted on Ebay. Include your blog URL and write good content that will interest your readers.
