How old are you and where are you from?
I’m 24 and I live in New York City.
I was out of a job for about a year or so because of a back injury, and I heard from my brother in law about a site his friend referred him to that pays you to do surveys/offers. It sounded like a good way for me to make some extra cash from home. It just snowballed after I realized the possibilities.
I earn from a variety of ways. I still take surveys for money in my spare time but my main income now comes from affiliate marketing programs and Google Adsense.
I’m a person that loves a challenge. The more I read about this turning into a full time passive income, the more interested and determined I became.
Oh yes. I think everyone has those points. I had a point where I wanted to quit completely! But I’m happy I didn’t.
Yes. I found that seeing everyone making much more than I was, even though I was trying so hard, difficult. But I learned that everyone goes at a different pace and being that I was starting from scratch. Many of these people were making money online years before I started.
Start out small. Don’t expect too much too soon. Decide how passionate and serious you are about making money online and then go from there with how much time and effort you are willing to put in.
I read stuff from everywhere online. I’ve learned what I know from many different people. But there are a few individuals that helped me get started. One of them go by the name “briguy” from the cashcrate forum. Another person that has helped me alot and I look up to them is “DayJobNuker”.
I just hope that I can inspire someone out there that might need some extra cash to take that leap and try making money online in your spare time.
Thank you Laura, for the opportunity to be featured on your blog. I’m honored since I do not consider myself a professional in what I do online but I’m happy that some think of me as one, and that I can inspire others with my earnings and what I’ve accomplished in my two years of doing this.
I’m still learning new things every single day.

I think the key is to diversify income through blogging, article marketing, and sites like ehow etc. One month I might see a spike in ehow, but a drop in adsense. It’s nice to have some consistency and not rely on just one source. I really enjoyed reading your blog!
